MA Cannabis Festivals & Events Happening in 2023

Massachusetts has cultivated quite the cannabis scene since legalization in 2016. In fact, there are festivals and events held year-round to celebrate the Commonwealth’s robust canna-culture.

Make sure to mark your calendars because we have rounded up several exciting MA cannabis festivals and events happening in 2023.

Budtender Appreciation Event – May 4, 2023

This budtender networking event will take place in Framingham, MA at the Fireseed Art Studio. Attendees will be provided with light appetizers, networking, and local companies highlighted in the MA Cannabis industry.

Not only that, attendees can enjoy music, art performance, and even a liquid light show! You’ll even be able to sample products onsite. Not a bad Thursday night if you ask us.

Boston Cannabis Week Spring Classic Golf Tournament – May 25, 2023

There will be two opportunities to participate in a Boston Cannabis Week golf tournament, and this one is the first! In addition to kicking off Boston Cannabis Week in September (see below), BCW is hosting its annual Spring Classic.

Prizes will be awarded to the women’s long drive, the men’s long drive, and the closest to the pin. Even if you don’t win, each golfer will receive a BCW gift bag including merchandise from BCW brand partners.

Along the course, you’ll find vendors and giveaways, including a wellness lounge. After the game, there will be a reception followed by dinner. Make sure to get your tickets ASAP; it has sold out the last two years in a row!

Cannabis Ancillary Services – June 1, 2023

This networking event for cannabis ancillary services will be held at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA.

This B2B event is for those in the cannabis industry as well as marketing experts, data analytics teams, banking professionals, doctors, builders, architects, engineers, energy engineers, HR teams, real estate professionals, laboratory professionals, dispensary owners, cultivators, manufacturing companies, and more!

The cannabis industry reaches far and wide, so come see how expansive cannabis really is at this event.

Supporting Moms in Cannabis – June 15, 2023

This panel and networking event specifically for moms in the cannabis industry will take place at the Boston Winery in Boston, MA. The event will feature an empowering speaking panel, light appetizers, and B2B networking for all attendees.

The purpose of this event is to allow attendees to collaborate with business professionals in the cannabis community while silencing the stigma against moms in the cannabis industry and making a meaningful impact to support the cannabis community’s growth.

Boston Tea Pad! – June 16, 2023

Enjoy the Tea Pad at the Foley Hoag Boston Seaport location in Boston, MA. The organizers of the event promise that it will be “the live jazz, good eats, plentiful libations, and provocative conservation” that the Tea Pad is known for.

The purpose of this event is to promote initiatives for diversity, equity, and inclusion within the cannabis industry. Tea Pad events also serve as fundraisers for The Tea Pad Fellowship Program, which works to advance women and people of color in cannabis STEM (science, technology, engineering, medicine).

NERCS: North East Regional Cannabis Symposium – August 30, 2023

This weekend-long symposium will be held at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA. NERCS is packed with intensive networking and professional development designed for mid-level managers, team leaders, and key employees of licensed operators.

According to the event page, the workshops will guide participants through “building a resourceful northeast cannabis community, defining and developing industry best practices, and proactively engaging in professional development.”

Afterward, participants will be able to take home a full report of everything they learned to apply the knowledge and expertise to their respective positions and companies.

Boston Cannabis Week – September 18-24, 2023

Boston Cannabis Week is celebrating its 5th year in locations across Boston. According to the event’s site, the mission of this women-owned and -led organization is to “normalize cannabis in our communities, by providing platforms for open dialogue, communication, education, and the arts.”

Throughout the week, you can experience exciting celebrations of cannabis and the community that surrounds it. Kick off the week with a golf tournament, attend education and networking events, and don’t miss the fashion and glass art, music, and cuisine events.

Meet specialists from cannabis cultivation, retail, media, music, event production, marketing, wellness, education, law enforcement, security, finance, and veteran services. There is something for everyone at Boston Cannabis Week!
